To rent a vehicle on Yours To Rent, you need a valid South African driver's license (or international license for foreign visitors), a valid ID or passport, and a credit or debit card for payment. Some hosts may have additional requirements which will be listed on the vehicle page.

Our standard cancellation policy allows free cancellation up to 24 hours before your scheduled pickup time. Cancellations within 24 hours may receive a 50% refund. Some vehicles may have different policies set by the host, which will be clearly displayed on the listing page before you book.

Earnings vary based on your vehicle type, location, and availability. On average, hosts earn between R5,000 to R15,000 per month. Luxury and specialty vehicles can earn significantly more. Our smart pricing tool helps you optimize your rates based on market demand.

In case of an accident, contact our 24/7 support line immediately. Document the scene with photos and get a police report if necessary. We'll guide you through the claims process and coordinate with the host to resolve the situation as smoothly as possible.
